I am Lee Jacobson, President of Jacobson Financial & Insurance Group LLC. I began insurance operations in August 1974, concentrating primarily on Life Insurance, Disability Income, Retirement needs, and Employee Benefits. Since 1974 we have been active in the insurance business - always in the Cook County Chicagoland area where I was born, grew up, and settled - just as two generations before me.
In 1978, services expanded to include Property & Casualty insurance coverage for businesses and families. We offer excellent Property & Casualty solutions to protect against the risks and hazards that businesses and families face day to day through numerous insurance companies, many of which have special or unique coverages.
In 2002 the William Meyers Agency was acquired and which specialized in Life, Long Term Care, Senior Solutions, Individual Medical, and Employe Benefits. This merged a significant volume of clients and added numerous insurers to the list we represented.
Since 2008 we expanded licensing in Florida, Texas, Georgia, and in other states to acommodate marketing property & casualty and life / health coverage to the expanding client base.
In 2011 service to clients for deregulated Commercial Electric and Natural Gas was begun, to take advantage of energy supply deregulation laws in Illinois and in 15 other states offering our cost saving alternatives to clients and which offered savings of as much as 40% less than the public utility monopolistic pricing. We target energy for businesses and residences which utilize more than 15,000 KwH annual usage.
In 2012 we were provided an opportunity to expand services with a strategic alliance with BCMS Merchant Services a 30 year old industry leader using US Bank. Our new brokerage is significant and represents 36,000 merchants which account for more than $200mm a month in purchases. That gives us leverage and experience in pricing and also in providing top terms and features.
Merchants who allow their customers to pay for goods or services using credit cards instead of paying cash are charged fees. Sometimes very expensive fees which often include hidden charges. Worse, some processors actually don't release the client's funds for as long as 3-5 days before depositing them in the client accounts. We guarantee our rates to be less, and we provide next day crediting of funds, and our client statements clearly break down interchange and transaction fees - unlike many others so you know what you are paying.
We seek opportunities to acquire other insurance agencies, life/health or property/casualty whose blend of business is mutually beneficial, where we can offer fair value for fair terms.
Today, Jacobson Financial & Insurance Group continues to offer diverse professional insurance and top financial programs for a very diverse clientele, comensurate with our 38 years experience. Confidently through excellent insurers and affiliations selected for our clientele, and with the right kind of knowledge and experience over the past 38 years, we can offer clients a service experience unmatched by the predominance of brokerages today.
We are constantly acquiring continuing education, product knowledge and professional experience to provide our clients with the most modern solutions for today's issues. We continually seek strategic alliances with service providers and professionals in associated fields for the benefit of our clientele. We continue to seek helpful services which will benefit our client base. We want to think outside the box for those important to us.
As President of Jacobson Financial & Insurance Group LLC, maintaining our excellent name and professional reputation built up over these past 38 years, is a main concern. We seek a client's complete satisfaction in the work we do for them, and we are not satisfied for anything less than a happy client - after all they are our judge and jury, and often our salesforce introducing new clients to us. We appreciate all the opportunities client friends send our way, and we pledge our very best efforts to keep earning your valuable business and trust,
